My husband has been smoking a pipe since we got married 17 years ago. But recently he began coughing and getting short of breath when going up stairs, to the 5th floor in our flat. So I decided to do something, because I didn't want his health to get worse, although I knew he was very stubborn about his pipe. Then I accidentally came across the electronic pipe from ePuffer and I immediately thought that this might bee what I was after. ePuffer review was very positive and it explained to me all the practical things I needed to know in order to avoid buying something inadequate.

When ePuffer's electronic pipe arrived, there was some confusion about where the battery was and how it is charged. However, my husband always wants to use something before he reads the manuals. When he took it out of the packaging, the electronic pipe's battery wasn't charged, so he had to go to sleep while the battery was charging overnight. The next day was Saturday and I was surprised how my husband got up so early. Usually on Saturdays we need to go shopping and I can never get him out of the bed till at least half past nine.

At first he didn't like the taste, but it seemed that he liked to fiddle with parts, take it apart and put it back together. That was strange, but I can see that he was getting fond of it. That was the important thing, if his health were to improve. So I've been very quiet about us again being late for weekly shopping and getting stuck in a traffic jam.

My husband wasn’t sure about the pipe at first, because he expected it to have the same taste as real tobacco pipe. He never smoked regular cigarettes because he didn’t like the way filters removed the throat kick, as he calls it. So he preferred to smoke right from a pipe. It took him a couple of hours, to get the hang of the electronic pipe. I've seen him settle and watch the vapor trails as they rolled above him. I knew this meant that he was accepting it, at least as a toy. But, as soon as he smoked a tobacco pipe again, he started coughing.

What can one say about the battery life? Well, on a working day, when my husband comes from the office, the battery is good for a whole evening of smoking. But on a weekend he wants to start smoking as soon as he gets up from bed which means he runs out of electric charge around mid afternoon. That is a problem, because he then starts looking for his real tobacco pipe. I think I'll need to get him a second electronic pipe, so he can bridge that gap.

Everything looks and feels exactly like smoking a pipe to him did and I can rest easy at night because it is healthier. Not only will you be living a better smoking life but you will be doing it with great flavors and a product that has been tested and proven.

I must say that I was very intrigued by the ease of his transition to the electronic smoking. I always fancied smoking a bit, so I think I'll try one of those electronic cigarettes. For starters, maybe just menthol flavor one.
