Replace the rubber seal and the plastic cover and put the cartridge back onto the atomizer and you are now ready. Always keep filled cartridges in a sealed plastic bag, just in case they start to leak, particularly if you are traveling and want to keep them in a suitcase, with clothes and other stuff.

I would suggest you stay away from modding e-cigs. One thing is for sure, I can tell you that most electronic cigarettes do not exchange parts readily. Sure, there are few white label products around, and occasionally some Chinese products use the same connectors, but majority of them will not be compatible.
